HOW YOU CAN HELP

The Hellbender is a fundraiser for the Greater Lansing Area Development organization that supports the needs of our local community.  As such, to maximize the benefit we need to minimize the cost of running the event. One of our most significant requirements is good people to help in many areas. If you can find the time to help organize, run, or assist in any way, we would greatly appreciate it.

Here is a sample of some of the areas in which we need help, together with some indication of the maximum time commitment:

Putting all the goodies in the goody bags each rider will get
Putting out the direction signs prior to the ride 
Being present at key junctions to direct riders and assist with safety
Helping at rest stops
Helping at post-Ride refreshments/entertainment
Driving after last rider along the starting with sign "CAUTION – CYCLISTS AHEAD"
